* Yooperlite is a stone found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, (People who live in this region call themselves, “Yoopers” a play on the UP, short for Upper Peninsula).
* Yooperlites are a type of syenite with sodalite inclusions.
* By day, they look like common lake rocks, but in the dark, or under a UV light, they come to life, as the UV-reactive sodalite, (which is found only in this area, due to glacial action some 8000 to 10 000 years ago), fluoresces and glows a beautiful neon orange.
* Yooperlite is a powerful stone for opening your Throat Chakra and developing self-expression, creating your own voice, and discovering unique aspects about yourself.
* Yooperlite facilitates & encourages personal growth, positivity and seeing the world from a new perspective.
Yooperlite, a relatively recent discovery, is a unique crystal found predominantly in Michigan, USA, and is composed of syenite rock rich in fluorescent sodalite. Spiritually, Yooperlite is believed to illuminate hidden truths and bring clarity to the mind, making it an excellent stone for self-discovery and transformation. Its strong connection to the throat chakra supports clear communication and the expression of one’s authentic self. Many use Yooperlite in meditation to access inner guidance and to release anger, fear, and negative emotional patterns.
